Every year, LeadingAge Georgia celebrates the journey of aging by highlighting vibrant stories about the lives of elders who are part of the LeadingAge community across the state. We continue this tradition in 2021 as part of the LeadingAge Annual Meeting + EXPO. This year, the Profiles of Positive Aging exhibit features 19 extraordinary older adults whose rich life experiences and contributions to their communities embody the lived experience of aging and all that comes with it.
The theme of the exhibit, My Life in Six Words, is inspired by writer and author Larry Smith, who encourages people to describe their life experiences in a succinct and poignant manner using only six words.
Join us in celebration of these remarkable individuals who are living life with purpose and meaning and contributing to their communities, wherever they call home.
