Bachelor’s degree, Human Services field or Marketing preferred. Five or more years of experience working with elders or in a senior living community environment.

What will you do?
MANAGE
• Manages and oversees the entire sales and marketing process from lead generation and prospect cultivation to close of sale and onboarding of new residents.
• Supervises the sales efforts of the Life Plan Counselor and serves as a backup salesperson to ensure all qualified leads are being properly cultivated.
• Manages the Customer Relations Coordinator and their efforts to onboard new residents and turn over apartments.
• Meets or exceeds established quarterly and yearly occupancy goals.
• In consultation with the Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing, develops and implements a marketing plan tied to budget which includes, but is not limited to, print and digital advertising, geofencing, events, public relations, and networking.
• With the support and guidance of the Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing, develops all marketing collateral and ensures look and messaging reflect the St. George Village brand.
• With the support of the Executive Director, fosters an esprit de corps among the staff of the entire community to help support the marketing and sales effort by doing their best in their respective areas.
• Serves as the key liaison with the outside community developing relationships that help drive leads.
• Manages the advertising schedule, insertion orders, digital advertising and geofencing.
• Works with the Dir. Of Corp. Sales & Mktg to ensure that all creative—website, print and digital ads, direct and electronic mail, video, etc. is of the highest quality and reflects the SGV brand.
• Orchestrates all events, open houses, seminars, etc. to bring prospects into the community.
• Manages inventory, monitoring resident’s movement through the continuum as well as attrition to anticipate vacancies that will need to be filled.
• Stays up to date on leading edge marketing and sales strategies.
• Conducts competitive analysis of the market to ensure SGV is priced right and delivering an experience that sets it apart from competitors.
• Generates sales and marketing reports to demonstrate effectiveness of strategies for the Dir. of Corp. Sales & Mktg., the Executive Director, SGV board members and all other interested and relevant parties.
ADMINISTRATIVE
• Maintains appropriate electronic and manual records for marketing and sales activities, referral sources and prospect files, preparing and submitting periodic occupancy and other reports as necessary.
• Oversees the input of data into the CRM database (Sherpa).
• In consultation with the Executive Director reviews residency contracts and related forms to ensure accuracy and conformity to regulations.
• Assists the Executive Director in developing policies and procedures to assure that residents are residing at the appropriate level at SGV.
• Establishes and manages an annual budget for the department to ensure that occupancy goals are met effectively and efficiently.
• Administers departmental policies, procedures, and related forms in accordance with organizational policies and procedures and provides to departments under her/his supervision.
BUILD RELATIONS
• Fosters a cooperative spirit among departments to ensure the best possible experience for residents which in turn drives new sales.
• Maintains an especially good relationship with construction to facilitate expedient and economical turnover of apartments.
• Manages the resident ambassador program which helps develop strong relationships with prospects and makes new residents feel at home.
• Develops relationships with local referral services to drive new leads.
• Participates in clubs, societies, service organizations, and other relevant networking functions to raise SGV’s profile and strengthen relationships throughout the greater community.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
• Interviews, hires, trains and mentors new employees.
• Conducts performance appraisals, addresses complaints, and resolves employee related issues.
• Takes initiative to solve problems; recommend improvements to procedures and other operational functions for the betterment of the community.
• Other duties as assigned.
What qualifications will make you successful?
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience. Sales, project management background and senior living CRM software a plus. Experience working with seniors, Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications (especially word and excel), internet, DropBox and Outlook.
