Objective of the position:
Under the general supervision of the Community Administrator, the Occupancy Specialist oversees compliance of leasing guidelines assigned by the organization in coordination with HUD. The work includes all activities of leasing, resident orientation, recertification and reporting activities.

•Ability to oversee privacy of tenant records, SSN, ID documents, financial info, etc.

•Team player, flexible and adaptable
Functions
•Manage applications and all other forms related to admissions and leasing on assigned software platform
•Conduct scheduled and open tours as needed
•Coordinate with Maintenance Coordinator on vacancy and turn key issues
•Coordinate move-ins and move-outs
General Administrative Duties
•Oversee/maintain library of all occupancy forms
•Manage all paperwork required for rent increases and addendums
•Perform interim re-certifications as needed
•Coordinate Section 8 program with HUD
•Manage collection, data entry and deposit preparation of rent payments/bank deposits, etc.
•Perform any other duties as directed by Community Administrator
