Management Services Specialist (Access to Services)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) is the regional planning and intergovernmental coordination agency that focuses on issues critical to the region’s success, including growth and development, transportation, water resources, services for older adults, and workforce solutions. ARC is dedicated to unifying the region’s collective resources to prepare the metropolitan area for a prosperous future. This is done through professional planning initiatives, the provision of objective information, and the involvement of the community in collaborative partnerships.

The Management Services Specialist will work in coordination with the Access to Services Section Manager and team members to provide advanced and complex administrative support that includes program and data analysis as well as maintaining accuracy of databases and tracking tools. These services include but are not limited to Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC), Nursing Home Transitions, MDSQ and Community Options Counseling programs.

This role includes responsibilities related to the support of the Access to Services team. It provides maintenance and development of workflow and process tracking mechanisms to ensure standards of promptness are met per state policy and internal protocol; includes data entry in the DAS Data System (DDS); compilation and reconciliation of monthly expenses; mailings to remote team members as well as to individuals in the community; calls to nursing home staff and other professionals.
